Start your own class option:::: Do you know one, two or three other people who would like to join you for a weekly yoga class? If so we can find a time that works for everyone and begin. Class size is for 1-4 students and cost can be divided between students in whatever way suits the members of the group. Cost is::: $90 for a drop in/pay as you go or $480 for a paid in advance series of 6 consecutive weekly classes.
Level 1 Iyengar Yoga: This class will focus on classical yoga postures with an emphasis on correct alignment. These poses will help you develop strength, flexibility, balance, and stamina while cultivating discipline, courage and sensitivity in mind, body and spirit.
Level 2 Iyengar Yoga: This class will build on and refine the fundamentals gained in Level 1 and will introduce poses such as Salamba Sarvangasana (shoulder stand), Sirsasana (headstand), full arm balance, backbends, and Pranayama.
Gentle Yoga: This class is for Seniors, Beginners, and others who would like to practice yoga at a more moderate pace. Although this class is less vigorous, all introductory yoga poses are taught. This class improves postures and increases strength and flexibility in a caring and gentle way. While giving careful attention to correct body alignment, tension in the neck and shoulders is reduced and deep relaxation is experienced.
Gentle Yoga with a Chair: This class is similar to the Gentle Yoga class described above however, we will go at a even slower pace and practice poses while sitting on a chair, or standing while using the chair for support.
